BASIC SETTING.
This Session explains how to set up MPC4000 connections...

AKSYS OVERVIEW.
This Session gives an overview of the Ak.Sys. software, explaining how to connect the MPC4000 to the computer and showing the main software windows...

The Ak.Sys. is a software (Windows and Mac platforms) that provides remote control for all MPC4000 sampler section functions and parameters. The powerful Ak.Sys graphic environment is also able to run alongside a sequencer/DAW application. Since version 2.5 an additional Pad Editor window has been added, specifically designed to support the MPC4000 pads setup.

LOADING SOUNDS.
This Session explains how to load sounds from a mass storage device (Hard Disk, CD-ROM, etc.) into the MPC4000 internal memory...

USING MULTIS.
This Session explain how to create a new Multi and how to have access to Part parameters ...

Loaded Programs must be assigned to the Parts of a Multi for playing and real-time control. A Multi can assign up to 128 Parts to specific MIDI channels and keyboard zones that can be directly controlled by the internal MIDI Sequencer or by external Master Keyboard/Sequencer. Internal FX Processors configuration and Q-Link controls setup are also saved with each Multi.

REALTIME CONTROL.
This Session explain how to use MPC4000 realtime controls...

MPC4000 features two kinds of realtime controls:
- 16 velocity and pressure sensitive Pads, used mainly to play loaded sounds.
- Several Q-Link faders and knobs, used to tweak sound parameters in realtime. Following procedures show how to assign Pads to the desired sound and how to use Q-Link controls for realtime performance.

USING SEQUENCER.
This Session explains how to record a Sequence using the MPC4000 internal Sequencer...

The MPC4000 internal Sequencer can manage up to 128 Sequences, each one containing 128 independent Tracks. MIDI data recorded to sequence Tracks can control the MPC4000 internal sounds or can be sent to MIDI Outputs1-4 to play external sound modules.

SAVING DATA.
This Session explains how to save data contained in the MPC4000 internal memory to a connected mass storage media...

Hard Disks and removable (Zip, Jaz) drives can be connected to the MPC4000 using SCSI and USB Host ports. An internal IDE Hard Disk can be installed to.

EXTRA SESSIONS.
In addition to Main Sessions, several Extra Session are also provided including subjects like "HD FORMATS", "USING EFFECTS", "NAMING", "ADDING PARTS", "TRACK DESTINATION"...

There is also an "OPERATING MODES" Virtual Experience Session where you will be free to press all MPC4000 operating mode buttons, exploring and understanding different display screens.
