The US-428 package includes USB drivers for both PC Win98 SE and MacOS 8.6.

The Cubasis VST software is also provided (currently PC/Win version only) with a multilanguage PDF format manual. It includes an updating file for Win98 SE, that has to be loaded before the US-428 driver installation.

The US-428 control surface offers immediate and full control on the Cubasis VST Transport and Channel Mixer windows, with the feeling to work with an audio-hardware environment.

Channels faders and Virtual channel rotary encoders fully control levels, EQ and effect parameters, allowing quick automation settings, usually performed on professional stand-alone digital recording units.

Moreover, the supplied driver allows to use the US428 as a standard Audio-MIDI card, taking full advantage of the built-in I/O and interfaces.

Load & save functions and audio regions editing are still controlled by the mouse.

All parameters and functions can be conveniently controlled in real-time by the U-S428 control surface.
