LINE6 POD / POD Pro
TECHNICAL DETAILS

The original guitar POD, upgraded to the 2.0 software version is able to simulate 32 guitar amplifier models and provides additional guitar effects.
Also, version 2 improved some POD functions.
All POD units produced after spring 2000 are directly equipped with version 2.0 and no update is required in this case.
The POD Pro is the POD rack mounted version. Basically, it features the same POD operation. Compared with the compact POD, it provides additional connectors. For instance, send/return for external processors, digital ports (with external wordclock sync) and a more flexible outputs management (extremely useful for recording and live setups) are included. Both direct and amplifier connectors are also available.
