This
optional Software/Hardware package was originally designed for use
with the Audio Gallery expander, and is used to directly connect
the Triton to a computer.
Two different versions are available: AG001B (PC/blue) and AG002B
(Mac/red).
The supplied cable and software driver allow to use the To-Host
serial port for high-speed MIDI I/O communication.
EXB-MOSS
The
EXB-MOSS expansion board adds to the Triton a complete additional
synthesizer that is completely integrated within the system.
Installing this board the Triton total polyphony is increased, since
the board features 6 independent notes.
MOSS (Multi Oscillator Synthesis System) synthesis is based on Physical
Modeling, a technique that uses mathematical models to simulate the
behaviour of acoustic and electronic sound generators.
The EXB-MOSS board implements 13 different physical modeling algorithms:
1) Standard Analog Synth
2) Comb Filter
3) VPM
4) Multi Resonance
5) Ring Modulator
6) Cross Modulator
7) Sync Modulator
8) Organ Model
9) E.Piano Model
10) Brass Model
11) Reed Model
12) Plucked String Model
13) Bowed String Model
EXB-SCSI
This
optional board is used to connect the Triton to external SCSI devices
such as Hard Disk, CD-ROM drives and removable units.
EXB-SMPL
The
EXB-SMPL optional board can be installed only in the LE model, and
features both a SCSI interface and the sampling option.
PCM

Each
PCM board contains 16 Mb of new samples, and is accompained by a
Floppy Disk containing the Programs and the Combinations that use
the new waveforms.
